Worth It? shows what something really costs each time you use it. Enter the price, how long it will last, and how often you'll use it. The calculator then shows the cost per use, the total number of uses, and a plain verdict.
A price tag shows what something costs once. Cost per use shows what it costs over time. A $120 pair of shoes you wear three times a week for two years works out to about $0.38 per use. A $30 pair you wear once costs $30 per use.
Worth It? was created by Talha Yousaf. It's free, needs no sign-up, and is released under the MIT License.
Results are estimates based only on the numbers you enter. Repairs, running costs, and resale value aren't included unless you add them to the price. Currency verdicts use approximate exchange rates, which I update from time to time, so treat them as a guide.
Worth It? is a simple decision aid. It doesn't tell you whether to buy anything, and it isn't financial or legal advice.
